All matches take place at Playground Berlin, our own multi-sport facility at Adlergestell 105, 12439 Berlin. Seven 5v5 football pitches, six beach volleyball courts, food, drinks, and mini-games included. It's not just matchday, it's a weekly team event.

Football is played 5v5, with 2x20 minute halves, on artificial grass (no studs or blades please). Beach volleyball is played 3v3 or 4v4, best of 2 winning sets to 21 points. Full rules are available on our Rules page.

Football matches are managed by experienced referees, respect their calls and keep it sporting. Beach volleyball is self-refereed. Our community plays fair enough that we don't need one. 🙂

No limit, bring as many colleagues as you want. Non-playing teammates are welcome to cheer from the sideline, join the Running Club, grab a drink, or enjoy the mini-games area. Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender or background.

Each season runs for three months, kicking off at the start of every quarter (January, April, July, October). You'll play 9–10 group stage matches, with the top teams advancing to semis and finals. Winners get a trophy, champagne, medals, and full bragging rights in the office.

Head to startupleagues.de to register. Once signed up, you'll get access to our Player Portal, your hub for schedules, match stats, goal scorers, tables, and matchday photos. You can set up a team login yourself or ask us and we'll sort it for you.

Your team captain confirms attendance via the Player Portal every week, deadline is Tuesday at 16:00. If attendance isn't confirmed in time, the match may be cancelled. The captain is also responsible for making sure the team shows up on time.

Let us know before the season starts so we can plan around it. If you're short on players last minute, we can help find subs from other teams, you'll take the loss on paper, but you can still show up for a friendly.

Yes! All teams play in matching jerseys. You can compete in company t-shirts too. If you'd like a recommendation for a jersey supplier, just reach out to Linus and he'll hook you up.
